“This one is so much newer then any of the ones I’ve been to. It has a lot of preparing food stations. It was so nice newer however it was very confusing compared to other grocery stores. I really liked it and I didn’t mind the locations.”

“So much to buy. Take your time but make sure you have a list so you don’t buy everything!”

“I am a big fan of MB. This is a new one and huge. Downtown definitely needed it. They have just about everything, even a cafe up front with seating area. Sushi, sandwich, meals, bakery etc. The best asset is the price. Say goodbye to Hanaford and Shaw’s. They may have greater selection in some depts. but I save an average of 20% every week at MB. Quality is there, too, from meats to produce, they have really stepped up their game over the last few years. Entrances to lot are a bit off, but the building is in a tight spot and a great improvement over what was there before.”

“This is a very impressive Market Basket! I was in town to find a burrito to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and saw a ton of cars and commotion happening across the street. I checked it out, and it was a giant Market Basket celebrating a grand opening complete with police officers directing traffic outside! I love Market Basket so I decided to go in and look around. The first thing I noticed was the smell- it smells delicious. It’s like someone is cooking homemade chicken noodle soup and it’s wafting through the vents. The next thing I noticed was the Market Basket Cafe- ohhh new and shiny! I have never seen one of these stations where you can purchase coffee, bakery goodies and some food with a huge seating area (complete with free wifi) off to the side. I ordered a hazelnut latte and it was pretty good, and cheap. Needless to say, the store was packed. My friend and I looked around and tried a free sushi sample (yum) and admired their huge alcohol section, and really the enormity of the whole store. A person could get lost in there! I am so jealous that Manchester has such an awesome Market Basket. The somewhat new one in my town pales in comparison. If you live in the area, wait til the crowds die down and then check it out- great selection and awesome savings!”
